On the 3rd July 2005, James Williams came and took sabre training at the English Institute of Sport Sheffield (EISS), this event was intended as sabre pre training for the British Championships (9th & 10th July, RAF Cosford).
This was a great opportunity to get some vital last minute coaching prior to the British Championships with the most successful British sabreur of the modern era, some of the countrys top fencers took part along with some fencers who are newer to sabre fencing, and the day was deemed a great sucess by all who attended.
