Sheffield Sword Club

Sheffield Sword Club is one of the largest clubs in the area, we have a number of coaches and run beginner sessions throughout the year. Our club meets at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield on Thursday nights. We welcome new members, both beginners and seasoned competition fencers.

The Sheffield Sword Club runs three beginner groups each year, one after the Christmas break, one after Easter, and one after the Summer. If you would like to learn to fence and join one of these beginner groups you can see more information about beginner fencing groups here

Summer 2012 due to the Olympic & Paralympic Games we had to close over some of the summer holidays, we are proud that a number of our coaches were working down in London in both the Fencing (and wheelchair fencing) and the Modern Pentathlon events.
