Warning! (29th January) – We’re calling the session off, as there is a lot of snow lying already, and more forecast up until midnight or so for safety’s sake, it’s off – Also the EISS have in the past closed early so their staff can get home, and this is usually around 8pm. No Fencing On: There will be no fencing on the following dates as the EISS is closed: 5th February and 19th February.
We are planning a social event for one of these weeks, so if you have any ideas of something you’d like to do, please let us know!
Sheffield Sword Club is one of the largest clubs in the area, we have a number of coaches and run beginner sessions throughout the year. Our club meets at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield on Thursday nights. We welcome new members, both beginners and seasoned competition fencers.
The Sheffield Sword Club runs three beginner groups each year, one after the Christmas break, one after Easter, and one after the Summer. If you would like to learn to fence and join one of these beginner groups you can see more information about beginner fencing groups here
