Sheffield Sword Club
Sheffield Sword Club meets at the English Institute of Sport, Sheffield.

We are a three weapon fencing club, which means that we fence with all three swords namely, foil, epee and sabre, with a full range of abilities from beginner to international and ages from 8 to 'retired', and we believe that it's never too late to learn to fence!

Fencing
Fencing is one of the few Olympic sports to have been in all of the modern games (since 1896) and all three weapons, foil, epee and sabre, are fenced by both men and women as individuals as well as teams.

Club History
The club in it's current form has been running since 2004, but the name is one with a history. Sheffield Sword Club was originally established in 1910, and was one of the strongest fencing clubs in the country from the 1950's.
